The Origin of Goddess Mari Amman (GY Ubayam)

Greetings,

'Ubayam' in Tamil means 'courtesy'! If you are undertaking to offer to God on a particular day, it is called 'ubayam by Ixora'! Choosing a day is as per your convenience! GY is now chose, a very auspicious day, in the month of March, when the new moon begins its next cycle, the occasion also has great significance similar to any other great occasions.

The 'GY Ubayam' are being scheduled in Wellesley Mari Amman temple. We (GY) have great pleasure in announcing, this Ubayam will be held on Friday 05/03/2010.

All devotees (GY FAMILIES) are cordially invited attend the prayers and receive the blessing of Sri Maha Mari Amman...

The Event/prayers Starts at 6.00 pm, followed by Annadhanam.

ANNADHANAM

Giving food is as good as giving life" is a saying . It is believed that those who provide food are elevated to the status of lord. In all the charities, the greatest importance is placed for providing free food for the needy. A wide spread of 'prasadham/ annadhanam' will be distributed to all devotees to conclude the happy event or Ubayam.

Pooja For all Dieties -Rm 51.00

Abhishegam things -Rm 201.00

Annadhanam -Rm 500

5th GATHERING - Pulau Jerejak

Hello Guys......Hope All fine....

Well we have been telling all the while to all those who post comments pls do write their name.....but i dono why this WATERFOUNTAIN is so dumb and stuborn by posting without names...i no above was sent by him.....well....forget abt that dickhead and let us talk abt the gathering....

No worrys guys.....The preparation done and we are just waiting for the day....Thanks for the early payments...its helps us alot in do the bookings and some payments....for those who havent ...kindly pay to suraes..........Well below are the short info abt the gathering..

Location : Pulau Jerejak
Date : 01 January 2010 (Friday)
Time : 7am (meeting at Caltex Paya Besar for those who moving from Kulim) please contact me or suraess for those need transport...for those coming from Penang, please ensure u all reach Jetti sharp at 8am...(The ferry is at 8.30am and those who miss the ferry need to wait untill 10.30 for the nexxt ferry) and im sure we gonna miss the activities which we had already set at Pulau Jerejak......the activties will strat at 9.30am......
so please,,please,,please be punctual.....
Activities : No worries...Im sure all gona sleep naked as the activities is full swing all the day....A briefing will be done at Jetti to ensure all clear abt the activities/programs.........
Also program handout will be given (especialy to Thanni so that he don open is mouth)...
Attire : Long Pants(optional),
Short Cargo Pants(optional),
Short Sports Pants(compulsory)beach soccer,
Sport Shoe or Covered Shoe(compulsory)all activities,
T-shirt(optional)Swimming Dress/Trunk(must for those who wants to swim in pool)

Payment : RM200 (thks for those who paid early and those who havent pls kindly pay to suraess asap as we need to settle the balance bill)
Reminder : Again please be punctual on timing...We must be there at Jeti latest by 8.00am so tha we can take the early 8.30 ferry....Again if we miss this feryy than we gonna miss many activities.....so please be on time....Tanimalai....make sure you come early....
Items to Bring : One Crate of Tiger Beer will be provided (for those who wants to consume more, please bring yourself....ice and ice box will be provided overe there........sincere advise...pls dont buy duplicate alkhol...i cant stay long)
